Is it normal for cashmere clothes to pilings?
In fact, both pure natural wool and cashmere fabrics will pucker, but only chemical fiber fabrics cannot. So don't think that pilling isn't a good garment!
The more expensive the wool sweater is, the denser the wool fibers are in terms of morphological structure, with denser scales and better softness and curl. The downside is that the fibers are more prone to tangling and pilling. From this point of view, the more expensive the sweater, the more likely it is to pile up. In the weaving process, the looser the twist, the more rounded the yarn state is, and the puffiness is like a loose rope that is easier to wind up because it has good flexibility! The less effective the natural tension is.
Fine fibers are more prone to pilling than coarse fibers, and blended fibers are more prone to pilling than other fibers. For example, clothes made from chemical fibers, wool and cotton fibers are more likely to does cashmere pill than clothes made from pure wool.
How does the pilling on clothes come about?
When the fabric is used, it rubs constantly, causing the ends of the fibers on the surface to be pulled, tied, hooked and pulled out, forming hair feathers on the surface of the fabric in a phenomenon called pilling. As the hair feathers are gradually pulled out (usually more than 5mm) and then subjected to friction, these fiber ends are hooked and tangled to form irregular balls of a phenomenon called pilling. As the fabric continues to rub during use, the fiber ball gradually becomes tighter, and the fibers connected to the fabric repeatedly bend, fatigue, and even break in different directions. The fiber ball will fall from the surface of the fabric, but the fiber feathers at the end of the broken fibers will remain in use, continue to be pulled out and form the fiber ball again.
